Montgomery Community Media Wins Two Emmy Awards

Montgomery Community Media took home two Emmys Saturday night at the 62nd annual Emmy Awards for the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter.

Reporter Andrea Sarralde and cameraman/editor Nic Rhule won for La Maestra del Año in the Education/Schools – Program Feature/Segment category:

Reporter/producer Andrea Sarralde and cameraman James Murphy won for La última esperanza para encontrar un hogar in the Feature News Report – Serious Feature category.

Last year, MCM won the first Emmy in the history of the organization.
