Montgomery College Ranked in Top 100 Community Colleges with Best Return on Investment

Montgomery College was ranked in the top 100 community colleges with the best return on investment (ROI) in the country, according to a recent report by Stacker Media.

The school, which ranked #78 on the list, was praised for its high rankings on diversity and state performance from sources such as Niche and the Chronicle of Higher Education. The report also cited the school’s adaptable virtual learning style with “400 credit classes in many areas of study, including early childhood education and criminal justice.”

The report was compiled using a study done by Georgetown University. It focused on colleges that primarily offer shorter educational degrees such as associate degrees and certificates.

Factors such as the net present value, which compares the current cost of attendance to future cost were used to analyze where students get the strongest value for dollars spent on education.

Prince George’s Community College located in Largo, Md ranked #89.
