MCPD Investigating Fatal Stabbing in Rockville

The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that took place in Rockville on May 2, according to a tweet from the MCPD.

Police responded to a call on Saturday at 12:50pm of a stabbing, and located the victim in the area of 100 block of Frederick Avenue. The homicide took place inside a home in the 700 block of Lenmore Avenue, according to a tweet from MCPD. The victim was an adult male.

An adult male suspect was arrested and is in custody. An investigation regarding the circumstances of the event is ongoing.

Montgomery Community Media reached out to MCPD for additional comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
