Manna to Open New Location at Gaithersburg Middle School
The Manna Food Center is opening a new distribution center this month to replace the daily distribution of their Gaithersburg warehouse. The new center, located at Gaithersburg Middle School, will open on April 23, with food distribution scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Participants will be able to schedule a pick-up at either location until May 24, when the warehouse on Gaither Road will stop distributing food.
“We believe that this new and convenient location at Gaithersburg Middle School will meet your pick-up needs,” said CEO Jackie DeCarlo in a recent letter to Manna participants. “We take our mission of sharing food in Montgomery County very seriously and look forward to serving you at our new location.”
The food bank also has plans to open a new daily distribution center off Old Columbia Pike late this summer. For distribution times, locations, and more information, call 301-424-1130 or visit Manna Food Center’s website.
