Man, Woman Killed in Single-Car Wreck
A man and woman from Potomac were killed in a single-car accident late Wednesday night on Democracy Boulevard in Potomac, a Montgomery County police statement said.
Kent Matthew Brooks, 30, and Kathleen Michelle French, 33, were killed when the 2011 Audi S4 drove off the roadway at Gainsborough Road, police said. The car, with Brooks as the driver, was traveling eastbound on Democracy Boulevard and struck a tree, police said.
The police Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating the wreck.
Brooks had addresses in the 7800 block of Heatherton Lane in Potomac and the 1400 block of Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, police said. French lived in the 7500 block of Heatherton Lane, police said.
