Man Nearly Drowns at Silver Spring Pool, Resuscitated by Lifeguards
A person nearly drowned at the Silver Spring YMCA located on Hastings Drive on Saturday afternoon. Officials say the adult male was unresponsive after being pulled from the water, however he was resuscitated right before first responders arrived. The victim was treated and transported to a local hospital.
Officials with Montgomery Fire and Rescue added that the lifeguards on duty during this incident did an excellent job.

His parents must be proud. He kept his head & did the right thing at the right time. It’s a blessing to know the spirit of the Good Person, the hero, is alive & well in Silver Spring. Thanks for sharing.
