Ledecky Wins Four Events at Swim Series Meet in Tennessee

Keeping Up with Katie: The latest news and information about Olympic champion swimmer and Montgomery County’s own Katie Ledecky.

Bethesda’s Katie Ledecky added four more wins to her ever growing collection of titles. In a four-day TYR Pro Swim Series meet January 9-12 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the 21 year-old swimming superstar won the 200 freestyle, 400 meter individual medley, 400 meter freestyle, and the 1500 meter freestyle.

Ledecky has won five Olympic gold medals and 14 world championship gold medals, the most in history by a female swimmer. She is expected to add to her collection of gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.
