Keeping Up With Katie: Ledecky Back In Action, Takes Silver
After two days off with a bout of dehydration, Katie Ledecky returned to the pool at the world championships in South Korea, helping the US to take silver in the 4×200 meter freestyle event. Australia won the gold.
Ledecky withdrew from two events on Tuesday – the 200m and 1500m freestyle – but looked good on Thursday clocking in at 1:54:61 in the second leg of the relay.
The five-time Olympic gold medalist says she’s “95 percent sure” she will swim in Friday’s 800-meter freestyle event.
