The Artist in Residence Alumni Concert Series continues with Gato + The Palenke Music Co. Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mansion at Strathmore, 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda. In his 2008 Strathmore residency, Jamie Salazar’s (Gato) Latin fusion band blazed with influences from El Salvador, Peru, Paraguay and Colombia. Tickets are $17 and may be purchased by calling 301.581.5100 or online at Strathmore website.
