Melanie Chadwick, MSN, ANP–BC, GNP–BC is a geriatric nurse practitioner for the Memory Disorders Program at Georgetown University, as well as a sub-investigator in clinical trials of potential new treatments for Alzheimer’s. Melanie also serves as a clinician at Medstar Georgetown Hospital specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of persons with dementia and related disorders. Her informative presentation will cover:

  • Normal Aging and Dementia
  • Types and Stages
  • Current Treatments and Research Trials
  • Question and Answer

Christen Milstead is the director of marketing for Ingleside, a not-for-profit parent organization to Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster at Lake Ridge, Ingleside at King Farm, Westminster Ingleside Foundation, and Ingleside at Home. She graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore County from Erickson School of Aging with a master's degree in management of aging services and from Towson University with a bachelors in Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing. She is also CASP (Certified Aging Services Professional) Certified.
