House Fire in Bethesda (PHOTOS)
UPDATED Nov. 2, 10:31 a.m. – Montgomery County firefighters are investigating what sparked a blaze that caused $250,000 damage at a home under renovation in Bethesda on Sunday morning.
According to Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the house fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. at 9519 Singleton Drive.
Piringer said the two-story, single family house was unoccupied and under renovation when the fire ignited. He described damage as moderate on Twitter and said there were no injuries.
According to Piringer, over 50 firefighters responded to this blaze and inside the structure they encountered heavy smoke during the firefight.
The investigation continues.
