Hogan Announces Victory Over Cancer for a Second Time
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan posted a selfie on Twitter early Wednesday following a procedure he had over the weekend to remove a form of skin cancer.
In his tweet, he stated “Larry-2, Cancer-0.”
Back in 2015, Hogan was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Last week, you may have noticed some bandages and small spots on my face – I had some sun-damaged skin removed by my doctor. They sent it off to be tested and it turns out these spots contain basal and squamous cancer cells.

We caught it very early and I will be having a small procedure done over the weekend to have them removed, which will take care of the problem. These are both very common types of skin cancer, totaling more than 5.4 million cases in America every year.
