
Health and Human Services Providing Free Immunization Clinics Today
The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is providing free Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccinations to incoming seventh grade students in Silver Spring and Germantown this week.
The state of Maryland requires that seventh grade students receive one Tdap and one MCV4 vaccination prior before the start of the school year, according to a Montgomery County Public Schools news release.
Vaccinations appointments are not required but a parent or guardian must be present. A copy of the child’s immunization record is also needed.
The clinics will be held:
Tuesday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dennis Avenue Health Center
2000 Dennis Avenue, Silver Spring
Wednesday, April 12 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
Germantown Health Center
12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown
Wednesday, April 12 from 9 a.m to 4p.m.
Silver Spring Health Center
8630 Fenton Street, Silver Spring
