Guidance Counselor Charged With Committing Sex Offenses Against Two Women

A guidance counselor at Albert Einstein High School has been charged with committing sexual offenses against two women he met on the social media app, “Tinder.”
Colin Sime Black, 33, of Clemson Court in Rockville, was arrested Thursday with a criminal warrant that charged him with two counts of second-degree sexual offense and one count of second-degree assault, according to a police statement. He was taken to the Central Processing Unit. Bail had not been set as this story was being written.
The first woman told police that on March 24, she met Black on Tinder, and they agreed to meet at his home, which at the time was an apartment in Rockville, police said. The victim and Black engaged in consensual sex. Black then committed sexual acts without the victim’s consent, police said.
On Sept. 15, 2017, the second woman told police she was assaulted in December 2016, police said. Investigators spoke to the victim on Oct. 3. The woman told police that she had met Black on Tinder in 2016. On Dec. 31, 2016, Black and the victim met for a second time.
The victim drove to Black’s home, and they engaged in consensual sex. Black then committed sexual acts without the victim’s consent, police said.
The two victims do not know each other. The victim who reported these offenses on Oct. 3 did not have knowledge of the ongoing investigation of the offenses committed by Black on March 24, police said.
In a letter to Einstein parents and guardians dated Thursday, principal James Fernandez said the school system was cooperating with police and the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
The letter says Black has been employed with the school system since 2009. In addition to his role as a counselor, Mr. Black has previously served as a coach at Einstein and a substitute teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools.
“These charges are deeply troubling. This type of behavior does not reflect the principles of MCPS or our community, and it will not be tolerated,” Fernandez wrote.
The letter also says the alleged offenses did not occur on school system property, are not related to any MCPS students, and do not involve any minors.
He will be placed on administrative leave, MCPS spokeswoman Gboyinde Onijala said.
I am sorry, but if you go to a mans house and have consensual sex with him you cannot get mad if he wants to include trickery!!!!! He was doing him and she should not have went there! Neither one of them shame on them and he should not be charged. Sex is not limited once you start! Now his career is ruined because they want to date online and go to a strangers house. These men want sex online and it was no surprise to these woman! Set him free! And this is coming from a woman!!!! And then he needs to sue for defamation of character!!
