Grants Now Available for Neighborhood Events
The grant application for neighborhood organizations and civic clubs planning community engagement activities is now open.
Established by the Montgomery County government, the Neighborhood Events Matching Fund provides grants up to $1,000 to encourage capacity building, networking, and to stimulate the local economy.
Funds must be matched and the event must take place by June 30, 2019, according to a news release.
There is no deadline for application, but funding is limited.
