Grants Awarded to Improve Gaithersburg Communities

A total of 23 neighborhood and homeowner associations in Gaithersburg were awarded a total of $63,000 through the city’s Frederick J. Felton Neighborhood Matching Grant Program.

The grant program, approved by the mayor and city council, is an incentive for neighborhood organizations to improve their communities by providing dollar-for-dollar matching grants, according to a news release.
