Get to Know Candidates for Rockville’s 2019 Election

The City of Rockville is conducting a Vote by Mail election for mayor and four councilmembers on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

City officials are inviting residents to attend three candidate forums. The forums with will be broadcast live on Rockville 11 (channel 11 on county cable systems) and live-streamed at Rockville 11’s website.

• Tuesday, Sept. 24: The League of Women Voters is presenting a debate from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive.
• Wednesday, Oct. 2: The Rockville Chamber of Commerce is presenting a debate from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive.
• Tuesday, Oct. 15: Twinbrook Village in association with Twinbrook Community Association is presenting a debate from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway.

Ballots will be mailed to registered Rockville city voters on or before Oct. 11.

Election day is Nov. 5, so for votes to count, ballots must be received by 8 p.m. in-person at Rockville City Hall or by mail.
