A Germantown woman has been charged for her involvement with a fire at a Gaithersburg Motel that caused more than $150,000 in damages.

Court records show Joy Lloyd, 37, was charged with arson in the first degree and reckless endangerment for a two-alarm fire at the Motel 6, located at 497 Quince Orchard Road, earlier this week.

No one was injured, according to Pete Piringer, spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
