Gandhi Brigade Youth Media Festival Planned for Saturday in Silver Spring

AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring will host the Gandhi Brigade Montgomery County Youth Media Festival and Competition on Saturday, April 16. The event is a chance for young student filmmakers to show off their films to the public.

Over 500 submissions were received for the competition in four different categories; documentary, narrative, environmental and a special seven day film competition. Visual art and photography exhibits will also be on display. The event is set to start at 11 a.m. and last through the day until 4 p.m.
