County Executive Ike Leggett and the incumbent County Councilmembers (democrats) all are moving onto the General Election in November. In the county’s District 3 Council race, Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz has won over 40-percent of the vote. There is no Republican challenger in this race. In the District 5 Council race, Tom Hucker has a slight edge over Evan Glass.
