1. Governor Larry Hogan announced that he’s “cancer free,” at a news conference. Hogan is in remission after receiving treatment for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

2. The Montgomery County Faith Community Advisory Council is holding a forum today at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville.

3. Councilmember Nancy Navarro is scheduled to announce a new public-private partnership to help close the achievement gap today in Rockville.

4. The “Sacred Places” art exhibit at Kentlands Mansion is on display through Jan. 3. Meet the artists at the opening reception at 7 p.m. in Gaithersburg.

5. The Silver Spring Health Clinic will be providing flu shots for anyone six months or older from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can make an appointment by visiting the county website or calling 311.
