1. A Walter Johnson graduate, retired Captain Florent Groberg will receive the Medal of Honor today at the White House.

2. The Montgomery County Planning Board meets today and one of the items on the agenda is an annexation petition that is drawing opposition from residents who live near Darnestown Road and Quince Orchard Road.

3. Bravo has announced a new show and the setting is right here in Montgomery County. It’s called:

4. The Board of Education will hold a second public hearing on the superintendent’s recommended Capital Improvements Program for FY 2017–2022 tonight at 7 p.m. at Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville. This meeting will be streamed live online and broadcast on MCPS-TV.
