1. County Budget: At a 9:30 a.m. worksession, Montgomery County Council members are expected to reach an agreement on the fiscal year 2018 operating budget and amendments to the fiscal years 2017-2022 CIP.
2. Montgomery Plans: The Montgomery County Planning Board meets today in Silver Spring. Peruse the Board’s agenda, here.
3. Summer Concert: Signature Live headlines the Bethesda Summer Concert series from 6 -8 p.m. at Veterans Park.
4. 3rd Thursday Poetry: This Takoma Park cultural event features poetry readings by Mary Stone Hanley, Ryan Holman, Samantha Magrath and Robert Soley. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and concludes with a free reception at 7500 Maple Avenue.
5. Artists Reception: An art exhibit titled, “Modern Surrealists,” features the works of Marco Cuba-Ricsi, John Duke and Thomas Germer, from now thru July 4th at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. You can meet the artists at a reception from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
