1. Play Ball! Montgomery County Parks is opening all athletic fields tomorrow so spring sports can officially hit the ground running.

2. MCPS students will have to make make up just one snow day, June 15 after getting a waiver from the State for two missed snow days.

3. The Lady Terps ousted the Tennessee Vols last night in a defensive battle. They play UConn April 5 in Tampa, Fla.

4. Washington Spirit soccer players are training for the season ahead. Save the date: the team’s home opener is April 18th at the Maryland SoccerPlex.

5. The Montgomery County Council is scheduled to issue a proclamation today for MCM’s upcoming, “Day in the Life of Montgomery County.” We hope you will join us on April 22nd for this annual event.
