1. It’s the last day of school for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students before they start their Spring Break.

2. Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice, MCPS Interim Superintendent Larry Bowers and Montgomery College President DeRionne Pollard are hosting the last of a series of five education forums at Wootton High School tonight.

3. The premiere screening of the documentary, Honor & Gratitude: Chronicles of Montgomery County Vietnam Veterans, takes place this afternoon at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center on the Silver Spring/Takoma Park campus.

4. Today and tomorrow is the beginning of peak bloom for the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C. You can find these beauties in the Kenwood community, in Montgomery County, too.

5. If you see something, say something. That’s the message from Metro Transit Police. If you travel on the Metro this week, you may see an increase in security following the attacks in Brussels. President Obama has ordered flags to half staff to honor the victims of these attacks.
