Five Things to Know Today, March 20, in Montgomery County (VIDEO)

Happy spring! Here are five things to know today, March 20th, in Montgomery County:

1. The Montgomery County Council has a busy week ahead. The Bethesda Downtown Plan, Montgomery College and school bus cameras are just some of the topics the elected leaders will be addressing this week. Find out more, here.

2. Parents and students can learn more about the next generation of science education at Science Night, which takes place from 7 – 9 p.m. at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville.

3. At Gaithersburg City Hall, local leaders will present GREAT awards to Diamond Elementary School, St. Martin of Tours School and Washington Grove Elementary School tonight. You can peruse the Mayor and City Council’s agenda, here.

4. Interested in becoming a U.S. citizen? A citizenship class is scheduled from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Long Branch Library.  Find out what else is happening at local library branches around the county, here.
