1. MCPS Interim Superintendent Larry Bowers is proposing an increase in class size and a staffing reduction to close the gap between what is being asked for in next year’s budget and what the school system may get.

2. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and the Montgomery County Council are united in their support for U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen’s bid to become a U.S. Senator.

3. An Adamstown woman died in a multi-car crash in Darnestown Monday morning.

4. The MCPS Board of Education will get an update on the number of unaccompanied minors enrolled in the system system at the board meeting Tuesday.
