Five Things to Know Today, June 3, In Montgomery County

1. Bethesda Outdoor’s main pool will remain closed this weekend for repairs, while the lap, teaching, and tot pools will be open. Admission to the facility is $2.

2. Starting tonight, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will temporarily close two lanes on the outer loop of I-495 from MD 97 (Georgia Ave.) to MD 185 (Connecticut Ave.).

3. It’s graduation day for Damascus High School, RICA, Seneca Valley High School, Model Learning Center, and Walter Johnson High School.

4. The Montgomery County’s Recreation Department and cities of Rockville and Gaithersburg are scheduled to host a free Water Safety Day event today starting at 3:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Water Park at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg.
