1. Networking Breakfast: Antonio Doss headlines the Small Business University event at Montgomery Community Media’s studios today. He will be talking about world trade as it pertains to small business.

2. Let’s dance! The city of Gaithersburg’s Thursday morning concert series for kids features Mr. Jon & Friends. The music begins at 10:30 a.m. at the City Hall Concert Pavilion.

3. Need a job? U.S. Representative John Delaney is hosting a Sixth District Job Fair today at the Bauer Community Recreation Center in Rockville.

4. A creative commute: The dedication of the Grosvenor-Strathmore Art Walk takes place this afternoon in North Bethesda and this is a walk you are going to enjoy.

5. A Parking Problem: The Montgomery County Planning Board meets today and on the agenda is a mandatory referral for acquisition of ten acres at 1000 Westmore Avenue. The Montgomery County Department of General Services was hoping to acquire this property for a school bus depot. Planning staff is recommending disapproval of the proposed acquisition.

One more thing: the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery County from 5 p.m. tonight thru 6 a.m. on Friday.
