1. Bethesda Plan: The Planning Board meets today, and on the agenda is the Bethesda Downtown Design Guidelines.
2. In Memory: The Wootton community will dedicate the Dr. Michael J. Doran Memorial Bridge in memory of the school’s beloved principal. The ceremony begins at 3:30 p.m. along Wootton Parkway.
3. Commencement Ceremonies: Its graduation day for seniors at Wheaton and Einstein high schools. Congratulations to the Class of 2017!
4. Fall Sports: Registration opens today for fall youth and teen sports (cross country, flag football, soccer and volleyball) programs in the city of Gaithersburg.
5. Outdoor Concerts: The weather looks good for tonight’s outdoor concerts. Bryan Elijah Smith headlines an Evening in Olde Towne beginning at 6 p.m. at the Concert Pavilion in Gaithersburg. At Veterans Park in Bethesda, Gary and the Groove take the stage from 6 – 8 p.m.
