1. The Montgomery County Council has approved the White Oak Science Gateway Master Plan. The county council is now on summer recess until September 9th.

2. MCPS pulls Churchill’s turf field funding request from the county council’s agenda.

3. The state of Maryland sends out a request for proposals to build/operate Purple Line.

4. There’s a new immunization requirement for seventh graders.

5. Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will join officials from the Housing Opportunities Commission today in Gaithersburg to announce an innovative program to help low-income families purchase laptops.
