1. Meet the Media: Council President Roger Berliner meets with reporters at 11:30 a.m.
2. County Agenda: The County Council’s Public Safety and Health and Human Services committee meet at 10:45 a.m. to receive an update on heroin, opioid and Narcan use in the county. At 2 p.m. the Planning, Housing and Economic Development Committee will hear about an expansion of the county’s small business assistance program.
3. Vision Zero: The county’s pedestrian safety committee will discuss the Vision Zero action plan at 7:30 p.m. in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center Conference Rooms. The plan includes ideas to elimination pedestrian and traffic deaths.
4. Affordable Housing: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council holds a workshop to discuss its affordable housing ordinance.
5. Women’s Soccer: Today is the first day to sign up for Montgomery Recreation’s fall women’s soccer programs.
