1. Governor Visit: Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is scheduled to tour A Wider Circle in Silver Spring today.

2. Berliner Briefing: Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner meets with reporters at 11 a.m. to discuss key issues facing the Council this month.

3. Kentlands Apartments: Gaithersburg city leaders are holding a work session tonight on the revised development plan for two six-story apartment buildings in Kentlands.

4. Film Series:  Montgomery College’s Monday night film series explores the 1960s with a screening of Lord of the Flies. Showtime is at 7 p.m. at the Robert Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville, and admission is free.

5. Prime Day:  Bargain shoppers take note: Amazon’s Prime Day begins at 9 p.m. and runs for 30 hours.
