2. A rally for increasing the minimum wage to $15 by 2020 is taking place today at 10 a.m. at the County Executive Office Building in Rockville. Several local organizations are urging County Executive Ike Leggett to sign the legislation that was passed this week by the County Council.
3. It’s Third Thursday Poetry Night in Takoma Park.
4. Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt are performing on stage at the Music Center at Strathmore.
5. At the Gaithersburg Arts Barn, you can meet the artists at the Winter White exhibit from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
