1. The first of five Education Budget meetings will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Montgomery College (Germantown Campus) Bioscience Educational Center. This is a part of the Second Annual Education Budget Meeting and is presented by Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice and officials from MCPS and Montgomery College.
2. The Montgomery County Human Rights Committee on Hate and Violence will host a meeting at the Muslim Community Center (MCC) in Silver Spring tonight at 7 p.m.
3. The City of Gaithersburg’s Book Festival Committee will be meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. You can view the committee’s full agenda on the city’s website.
4. It’s never too late to go on a date. The Holiday Park Senior Center in Silver Spring will be hosting a speed dating event today.
5. The Mansion at Strathmore will be hosting its Artist in Residence workshop with the Bumper Jacksons at 7:30 p.m. You can register for the free event on the Strathmore website.
