Advisory Board Meeting to Discuss Westbard Sector Plan and Other Topics Cancelled
The Western Montgomery Citizens Advisory Board meeting, scheduled for tonight at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, is cancelled due to the Board’s inclement weather policy.
Montgomery County Councilmember Marc Elrich was scheduled to speak at the meeting and the Westbard Sector Plan was expected to be a hot topic.
The group “Save Westbard” sent out a notice to members about the meeting Monday night on Facebook. “We need a big turnout to show the intensity and organization in opposition to the proposed Westbard plan,” the notice said.
Last week, Bethesda Beat reported that more than 60 people discussed the plan at two public hearings.
A new meeting date has not been announced yet.
