1.  Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will be headlining the Committee for Montgomery’s annual legislative breakfast along with Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser. The event starts at 7 a.m.

2. The Department of Permitting Services will close at noon today and open for normal business hours on Dec. 17.

3. The Montgomery County Police Department’s annual “Santa Ride” will start at 9 a.m. today. Motor officers will escort Santa on a motorcycle as he makes his way to the Children’s Inn at NIH with gifts and donations. Santa will be making stops along the way, you can view the schedule here.

4. The Mansion at Strathmore will feature the Yiddish musical styling of NYC-based trio Metropolitan Klezmer tonight at 7:30 p.m.

5. The Highwood Theatre in Silver Spring will be hosting its final improv CAGEMATCH of the season tonight at 8 p.m., featuring  Couch Money vs. Laffrican Americans.
