1. It’s Student Orientation Day for MCPS middle and high school students.

2. Tree work will close a portion of the Capital Crescent Trail between Little Falls Parkway and Bradley Boulevard today.

3. The State Highway Administration is beginning a resurfacing project along Midcounty Highway in Gaithersburg. Overnight closures are expected thru late fall.

4. Hoping to see the Pope next month? Congressman John Delaney has announced that his office has a limited number of tickets for the live video broadcast of Pope Francis address at a joint meeting of Congress at the West Lawn of the Capitol. Find out more, here.
