1. Governor Celebrates Fitness: Governor Larry Hogan is expected to attend National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils ribbon cutting and pep rally at Newport Mill Middle School in Kensington today at noon.
2. Council Meeting: The Montgomery County Council is expected to discuss gun violence, a zoning text amendment for bed and breakfasts in historic buildings and commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month.
3. Board of Education Meeting: School board members will discuss the 2018-2019 School Year Calendar and more.

5. Master Plan of Highways and Transitways: The Montgomery County Planning Department is holding a public meeting at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library in Burtonsville to solicit feedback from the public on proposed changes to the Master Plan of Highways and Transitways (MPOHT).
