1. Busy Committee Day: Montgomery County Council committees have a full day of briefings. The Public Safety Committee, at 9:30 a.m., hears from corrections officials on how the county prevents jail suicides. Also at 9:30 a.m., the planning committee discusses accessory apartments. At 2 p.m. The health committee hears from County Health Officer Travis Gayles on the health of the county. The meetings all take place at the County Office Building. 2. Short Term Rentals: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council holds a work session on short-term rentals. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Here’s the agenda.
