1. Breast Cancer Awareness: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Interfaith Works and the Brem Foundation are holding a ‘re-bra” event for women who have fought breast cancer. The event starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Interfaith Works Clothing Center, 751 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville.
2. extRa extRa: Ride On starts a new bus service along Md. 355. With comfy seats, wifi and charging ports, it offers more options than regular buses. And with limited stops, it gets from Lakeforest Transit Center to Bethesda in no time.
3. Meet the Media: Council President Roger Berliner meets the media at 11:30 a.m.
