1. Annual Snow Summit: The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will hold a press conference for its annual winter preparedness “snow show” to demonstrate the latest technologies they’re using to combat winter weather.
2. Blast in Bethesda: Weather permitting, single controlled blasts are planned between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This work is part of the ongoing construction of the Crossing Project at the Medical Center Metro Station.
3. Board of Education Public Hearing: A public hearing will be held to discuss Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith’s recommended $1.818 billion Fiscal Year 2019 Capital Budget and the FY 2019-2024 Capital Improvements Program.
4. Upper Paint Branch Trail Plan: Montgomery Parks staff is hosting a public meeting to review and provide feedback on the preliminary recommendations on a new Natural Surface Trail Plan in the Upper Paint Branch area.

5. Quality of Life Committee Meeting: East County Citizens Advisory Board will hold its quality of life/social issues committee meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the East Count Regional Service Center, 3300 Briggs Chaney Road in Silver Spring.
