Five Things to Know for June 20 in Montgomery County

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, June 20, in Montgomery County:

1.  Recycling Seminar:  Montgomery County’s Department of Environmental Protection will host a businesses recycling seminar.  Businesses will have the chance to learn about reducing waste, reusing material, and how to make recycling and waste reduction a part of their day-to-day operations.

2. Enrollment Days: Montgomery College Germantown Campus will host “Enrollment Days,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the High Technology and Science Center located at 20200 Observation Drive in Germantown.  Staff will assist students with the enrollment process at Montgomery College.

3. Summer Lunch Program: Montgomery County Public Schools officials are reminding residents in need that the school district remains committed to ensuring that students are receiving a healthy meal free of charge during the summer.

4. Dawson’s Farmer’s Market: Dawson’s Farmer’s Market is now open and will continue until Sept. 26.
