1. I-495 & I-270 Public Meeting: The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration will hold a public workshop tonight for the I-495 & I-270 Managed Lanes Study. The study is part of MDOT SHA’s statewide Traffic Relief Plan to reduce congestion on the Capital Beltway and I-270. The workshop will take place at Clarksburg High School, located at 22500 Wims Road in Clarksburg.
2. Homeless Shelters:
County Officials Will Remember Homeless Individuals During Memorial Service
3. Local Splashdown Hikes: Learn about some trails and hiking in the area from the creator of The Hiker’s Notebook, William Needham. The discussion will take place at REI in Rockville.
4. 7th Grade Immunization Clinics: Free Tdap and MCV4 vaccinations to incoming seventh-grade students at various locations. No appointment is necessary. A parent or designated adult must be present.
