Here are five things you need to know for Friday, Aug. 3, in Montgomery County:

1. Weather Alert: Montgomery County remains under a Flash Flood Watch through Saturday morning and more rain is in the forecast for Friday.

2. Kentlands Graffiti Update: The gang responsible for the graffiti found on a fence in Kentlands is likely the Schuyler Road Crew, according to a Montgomery County police detective.

3. Friday Night Concert: Rockville’s free outdoor concert on the Town Square features The Crawdaddies from 6 – 9 p.m.

4. Art Walk in the Park: The Glen Echo Park Partnership hosts open studios and artist demonstrations in the Park’s many visual arts studios and galleries today from 6 to 8 p.m. The Words out Loud monthly series starts at 7:30 p.m. in the North Arcade Building and includes readings and an open mic session.

5. Friday Movie Night: Watch Isle of Dogs on the bigscreen outdoors in Silver Spring as the Silver Screens on Sonny’s Green series continues. Another option is Movie Night in Gaithersburg where the family can enjoy Cars at the Casey Community Center at 7 p.m.

And one more thing… The Montgomery County Recreation & Parks Fall guide is available online today. Print copies will be available Monday, Aug. 6 at pools, recreation centers, parks and the libraries. Registration for fall classes, after-school programs, and more opens August 13.
