Fire Destroys Germantown Playground
A fire at a Germantown playground caused significant damage to the park Wednesday night.
The fire on the playground at the Cedar Valley Community Park in the 21300 block of Seneca Crossing Drive is under investigation and caused less than $100,000 in damages, Montgomery Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer wrote in a Tweet.
Anyone with information is asked to call fire officials at 240.777.2263.

Krista, can you reconfirm the damage estimate? The tweet lists the damage as greater than $100K, your report has it as under $100,000.
As a resident of Seneca Crossing, I wanted to know what the estimate was when I inquire into this with the HOA directors.
