Family Justice Center (Video)

October is domestic violence awareness month. In Montgomery County, there’s a safe place domestic violence victims can go for help that may save their lives. Since the Family Justice Center opened its doors in 2009, over 4,000 families have been helped. The services range from care to court under one roof. MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports.

A benefit supporting the Family Justice Center will be held on Oct. 14 from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda. First Lady Catherine Leggett is the benefit’s chair. For more information, please visit www.mcfjcfoundation.org
