Expected Rains Push Friday’s Graduations Back One Day
Commencement ceremonies at five Montgomery County Public School graduations that originally were scheduled for Friday now will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 due to the forecast of inclement weather.
Graduating seniors at James Hubert Blake, Richard Montgomery, Sherwood, Watkins Mill Hill and Walt Whitman high schools will have to wait one extra day before getting their diplomas.
Due to rain forecast for Friday, June 11, 2021, the commencement ceremonies scheduled for that day will be moved to Saturday, June 12 at 10 a.m. Principals will provide additional information/details to their school communities. https://t.co/uY7l7uhl7t pic.twitter.com/Do7ahFf3wC
