Detectives Investigating Theft at Rockville 7-Eleven

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating a theft from a 7-Eleven in Rockville that took place earlier this month.

According to a press release, more than $2,500 was taken from the convenience store located on the 1700 block of Rockville Pike on October 3 shortly after 10:00 a.m.

After reviewing video surveillance, it was determined that the suspect walked to the rear of the store, and entered an office area where cash had been stolen from a desk drawer.

Investigators obtained video and photographs of the suspect from the store and a nearby Metro station.

 

 

 

 

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect to call the 1st District Investigative Section at 240-773-6084.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this crime.
