Detectives Investigating Armed Robbery at Bethesda Jewelry Store
Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department say more than $60,000 worth of merchandise was taken from a jewelry store in Bethesda on Friday.
According to a press release from MCPD, three male suspects entered The Jewelry Exchange located on the 7000 block of Old Georgetown Road shortly before 6:00 p.m. on December 13. Officials say one suspect displayed a handgun while the others demanded jewelry. While two of the suspects collected the stolen jewelry, the third suspect allegedly served as a lookout at the front door.
The suspects got away with 100 pieces of jewelry totaling more than $60,000.
Investigators have released surveillance video of the three suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of these suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
